What Knowing Can Do
The majority of the Rachuonyo district population is computer illiterate. This project will allow for much needed expansion of the computer resource and training centre in the district. The resource centre will provide an enabling environment for the rural poor’s social, political and economic empowerment, and will also more effectively support income generation, education and create greater awareness on health related issues and human rights.
By the end of the project period, Banfarm expects at least 65% of the population (or 100,000 people) to benefit.
